ส่วนผสม
- แนยจืดหรือเค็มก็ได้ หั่นลูกเต๋า 6 ชต (3 ounces) และอีกเล็กน้อยสำหรับทาพิมพ์
- bittersweet or semisweet chocolate หั่นเป็นชิ้นเล็ก 8 ออนซ์
- น้ำตาล 3/4 ถ้วย
- vanilla extract 1ชช

- แป้งอเนกประสงค์
- ถั่ว walnuts almonds hazelnuts หรือ pecans, อบและหั่นหยาบๆ 1 ถ้วย

Hi there,
I have always been a sucker for gooey brownies, and I have always been on a hunt for the next favorite recipe to add to my ever-expanding-collection. Needless to go into crazy details about how ecstatic I was when I first purchased the book called “Ready for Dessert” by the famous Paris-based food blogger, David Lebovitz, and found that he included a recipe called “Robert’s Absolute Best Brownies.” The reason behind my excitement is the fact that if Mr. Lebovitz uses double superlatives in his recipe title (note the Absolute and Best,) the recipe must be damn close to being the ABSOLUTE BEST recipe, I am certain!
However, the initial excitement faded, and the recipe got lost beneath the chaotic madness I call my brain and I forgot about it completely. But something in the back of my mind gave me a nudge at 9.30 PM this evening, and I suddenly remembered about this double superlatives recipe, and by 10 PM my first batch of the brownies is happily baking in the oven.
By now I am sure you are wondering if this brownie lives up to its name. Judging by the fact that I could not resist waiting to wait until the brownie cool down completely and already had a bite and now have a rediculous grin on my face, this recipe surely lives up to its claims. (Never doubt Mr.Lebovitz for a second of course.) If you are a chocolate lover and a fan of brownies with gooey centers, this brownies is for you. But if you are a fan of cake brownies, you might want to try something else. I will surely be baking it again and again though!
Robert’s Absolute Best Brownies

Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons (3 ounces) unsalted or salted butter, cut into pieces, plus more for the pan
- 8 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, or pecans, toasted and coarsely chopped
Directions
