Hi there,

Since last week, my class curriculum has  shifted from delicious, edible cakes and plated desserts to ornamental cake decorations. As much as i find chocolate flowers, pastillage (think white decorative pieces on wedding cake), and sugar ornaments intriguing, I do not have half as much fun making them. However, when as I entered my marzipan class this week, it was like I re-discovered the Play-doh-loving kid inside of me all over again. I just realized how much I enjoy sculpting and molding little figures! But of course being the non-traditional me that I am, I did not went with normal human figures, I decided to go all out and modeled an Angry Bird family. I hope you enjoy looking at their pictures as much as i enjoyed making them =)

ช่วงนี้ในห้องเรียนของนิดาได้เริ่มเข้าสู่คลาสเกี่ยวกับการตกแต่งเค้กค่ะ จากขนมเค้กอร่อยๆก็เปลี่ยนมาเรียนด้านการทำรูปแปั้นช๊อกโกแลต การดึงน้าตาล การทำดอกไม้จาก Pastillage (คล้ายๆพวกของตกแต่งขาวๆบนเค้กแต่งงาน) ซึ่งแต่ละอย่างล้วนจะไม่ค่อยเข้าทางนิดาเท่าไหร่นัก แต่พออาทิตย์นี้ได้มีคลาสทีเรียนด้านก่รปั้นตุ๊กตา Marzipan (ทำจากอัลมอนด์บดค่ะ) นั้นทำให้นิดาได้รู้สึกเหมือนกลับไปเป็นเด็กผู้หญิงตัวเล็กๆที่รักการปั้นดินน้ำมันเป็นชีวิตจิตใจอีกครั้งเลยค่ะ ตอนเด็กๆถ้าปล่อยนิดาไว้กับกระดาษวาดเขียน ดินสอสี หรือดินน้ำมัน นิดาที่เป็นเด็กไฮเปอร์สุดๆนั้นสามารถนั่งนิ่งๆได้เป็นชั่วโมงเลยค่ะ หลังจากเรียนคลาสนี้เลยมารู้ตัวว่าโตขึ้นแต่ตัว =) และแน่นอนว่านิดาคงไม่ปั้นตัวตุ๊กตุ่นรูปคนแบบธรรมดาอยู่แล้วใช่มั้ยล่ะคะ นิดาก็เลยขออินเทรนด์กับเค้านิดนึงโดยการปั้นครอบครัว Angry Bird ค่ะ ถ้ามีเวลามากกว่านี้สงสับจะมากันครบชุด หวังว่าทุกๆคนจะชอบนะคะ =)
