The holiday season is surely kicking in full gear, needless to say that I am extremely excited to be cooking and entertaining my loved ones during the happiest time of the year.
I already threw a small potluck-style dinner party yesterday for some College friends. Since it’s so hot in Thailand this winter, I decided to make my own winter sanctuary with a cozy winter party in the theme of silver, white, and blue. Here are some pictures:
After last night’s festivities, I am back in the kitchen again to prepare for another dinner party tomorrow for family and relatives. Here’s the menu I made for my X’mas dinner tomorrow
The recipes I will adapt from are as follows:

1.Martha Stewart’s Baked Brie

3. Coddled egg
will use recipe from Larousse gastronomique book:
2 leeks
11/2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp heavy cream
4 eggs
salt, pepper to taste
- thinly slice leek
- heat butter and olive oil in the pan and cook the leek 3-5 mins,season to taste
- cook over low heat for another 5 mins then stir in 2 tbsp cream
- preheat oven at 425 f, butter four ramekin
- break an egg into each ramekin then add remaining cream, leek, and more salt/ pepper. Bake for 10 mins until eggs set.
4.Cranberry salad
no recipes, just toss rocket, dried cranberry, toasted sesame seeds and almond, and crumbled goat cheese together with a vinaigrette of your choice.
